Quantity Surveyor



Our client is a well respected and established engineering company handling mechanical and electrical projects for industrial and commercial customers throughout the South Wales area. They are currently looking for a flexible Quantity Surveyor able to work on a number of active contracts. This person should ideally have experience in both industrial and commercial sectors on M&E services rather than building/civil engineering, although experience negotiating with civil main contractors may be considered useful.



The successful candidate will need to:

Have good financial and commercial awareness

Strong interpersonal , negotiating and team working skills with a flexible and positive attitude

Prepare reports for program costing

Be familiar with contract law, and used to dealing with contract variations and checking invoicing.

Become involved in any sub contract negotiations

Produce the required final accounts and claims
