Mechanical design engineer



This fantstic opportunity is working for a very successful heavy engineering company. You will report directly to and work closely with the Technical Manager and you will work

closely with the sales team and manufacturing team.

You will be responsible for the design of special materials handling projects for the heavy

engineering sector within the UK and abroad. You will be responsible for planning and

supervising your own project work and take designs from conception through to the issue of

detailed manufacturing drawings to the manufacturing department. You will need to be able to

liaise with the manufacturing department and/or site teams during the

manufacturing/installation of the equipment to give technical advice should any problem

occur.

You will be able to use AutoCAD to produce design and manufacturing drawings.

Qualifications:

•Have at least a HNC (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering
