Leisure Club Sales Manager or Membership Sales Manager



We are recruiting for a very prestigious gym for an experienced Leisure Club Membership Sales Manager based in the Swansea area who will report into the Leisure Club Manager and liaise with the Membership Retention Manager as part of an established team, the Leisure Club is based within a beautiful hotel which attracts a loyal client base. The Leisure Club has a state of the art gym including a full length pool, sauna and fitness studios, the facilities will also include different classes so whether you would like to improve your fitness level or just tone up our client will be able to assist you. Our client prides its self on offering pristine facilities to its members. <br><br>As a Leisure Club Membership Sales Manager your role will be to predominately concentrate on increasing the membership base by contacting lapsed and existing customers and local businesses either via the phone or sending our correspondence, you will be using an existing data base or self generating leads to add to the data base, you will also be coming up with innovative ideas to increase the sales activity through managing a small existing team. Your duties will also include setting sales targets, managing performance and weekly KPI’s, holding regular team meetings while reporting into the Leisure Club Manager ensuring the department works towards its yearly budget, you will monitor activity plans, create monthly cancellation reports, prepare an annual marketing plan, dealing with walk ins, achieve joining fees to hit revenue budgets, stock control and ordering stationary along with additional administration duties <br><br>To be successful for the position of Leisure Club Sales Manager you must have worked managing a sales team within the leisure industry and ensure the department consistently offers the highest professional standards of service for the guests and maximises the profitability and you must be able to prioritise your time and duties as well as having great attention to detail <br><br>You will receive excellent benefits including a very generous bonus, free gym membership, staff discount, pension, healthcare and excellent career potential <br><br>This position is available immediately <br><br
